Current Programs

Computer Courses

Elite Care Group are running short computer courses for students at their campus in Liverpool. The course also offers students the opportunity to learn and socialise with other students and become mentors upon program completion.

Seniors Card holders may get discounts, while students who sign up for the Elite Care membership package will also qualify for special discounts, with the first lesson provided free of charge. Other students will pay full fee at reasonable prices.

The courses offered will vary depending on the demand and need for the type of computer component being learnt – for instance basic hardware and software, email, internet usage and basic document creation can be learnt in a reasonable time frame.

 

Why do this course?

Computers and the internet takes the hassle out of using electronic devices for communication, document creation and finding information on almost any topic imaginable. For instance, it is possible once completed you can:

  • send and receive emails
  • do your internet-related banking or apply for jobs, volunteer work
  • shop for personal items, music, movies or almost anything
  • keep your minds active by playing games and learning new skills
  • chat online using video with programs such as Skype
  • access government services (e.g. myagedcare.gov.aumy.gov.aunhsd.com.au)
  • enrol in free online courses you can complete from home
  • become savvy when using the internet to detect fraud and other scams
  • become familiar with modern devices like the smart phone and using apps for all types of purposes
  • learn how to connect devices to a Wi-Fi and manage password usage
  • learn how to connect basic devices such as a printer, mouse, keyboard, monitor
  • learn how to choose the right computer, laptop, iPad, peripheral and so on for your personal use learn how to install and manage software applications

Course Fee:

*Enrolment Fees – $90 (non-refundable)

*Tuition Fees – $60 per day ( 2 hours class minimum)

You pay as you go on a weekly basis. You can stop anytime and start at any level. You have to go through assessment test to identify your current level and determine level to enrol.

Learn English from No English to commanding level
